Auto Express has crowned the Renault Kadjar the best mid-size SUV in its annual Used Car Awards. The popular family SUV has been on sale since 2015 and received a suite of updates in 2018.

The Kadjar was praised for its impressive practicality, offering a large and versatile 472-litre boot and plentiful stowage areas inside the cabin, as well as its affordability thanks to low running costs across the range. Particular praise was given to the frugal 1.5-litre dCi models that are capable of returning more than 60mpg while remaining impressively refined and smooth to drive.

Inside, the Kadjar was also commended for the material quality, as well as the ease of use and responsiveness of the R-Link infotainment system, contributing to an interior environment that’s quiet and user-friendly.

1.5-litre bottle, an adjustable armrest and large cupholders ensure those in the front can stay comfortable and make full use of the generous storage areas available, while Isofix points and a large, flexible load area round off the complete package.
