Renault Sport Racing's Customer-Competition organization is evolving, with the arrival of Benoît Nogier as Commercial Racing Director. At the same time, Vincent Gaillardot becomes Technical Racing Director, in addition to his duties in Formula E.

Reporting to Cyril Abiteboul in the newly created position of Commercial Racing Director, Benoît Nogier will be in charge of proposing new projects for vehicles destined to customer-competition, as part of the Groupe Renault’s motorsports strategy. He will also oversee the commercial and promotional activities of the current circuit and rally customer-competition programmes.

After receiving his engineering degree from the ESTACA, Benoît Nogier has held several positions in the PSA Group since 2005. As the Citroën Junior Team Team Manager, he played an important role in the blossoming of Sébastien Ogier’s career, before becoming more recently Sales Manager of the Peugeot Citroën Racing Shop.

Benoît Nogier will work in close collaboration with Vincent Gaillardot, whose duties are evolving. Vincent takes over as Technical Racing Director to oversee the design and development of the vehicles and parts in Renault Sport Racing’s programmes outside of F1. Vincent Gaillardot will also maintain his responsibilities in the current Formula E programme.

Cyril Abiteboul, Renault Sport Racing Managing Director: “I would like to thank Jean-Pascal Dauce, who has been appointed to a new position within the Groupe Renault, for his contribution since the consolidation of the motorsports activities into Renault Sport Racing. The customer-competition programme is at the heart of our strategy and we are setting up a new organization, with the arrival of Benoît Nogier as Commercial Racing Director. His experience is an important addition as we work on future products. We are also very pleased to benefit from Vincent Gaillardot’s expertise. As part of our strategy, this new organization will enable us to facilitate the development of Renault Sport Racing’s activities outside of F1."
